Dr. Negiel Bigpond

Dr. Negiel Bigpond is a full-blood Euchee (Yuchi) Indian, a fourth-generation minister of the gospel, and an accomplished musician and singer. In addition to evangelizing in over 143 Native reservations, Dr. Bigpond has traveled worldwide, representing Christian Native Americans preaching and teaching God’s Word. After spending time in Washington D.C. working with Senator Sam Brownback (ret.) on H.J. RES. 46—a joint resolution of apology to Native peoples—Charisma Magazine named him one of the ten most influential Christian leaders of 2006.

Dr. Bigpond’s television program “The Gathering Place” is aired every Sunday at 6:30 AM in Oklahoma on Channel 6. “The Gathering Place” is currently being produced by Cory Wolfe on location at the Morning Star Church of All Nations located at Two Rivers Native American Training Center.

“The Gathering Place” is the first of many television production projects that Native Waves Network will be used to facilitate.
